Pathology and Laboratory Medicine

The American Mission Hospital started offering their Laboratory Services in the post-war era. Established as a separate facility in 1984, the AMH Laboratory provided basic clinical laboratory examinations and has expanded its services and operations over the years. The expansion extended to the satellite branches (Saar, Amwaj and Riffa clinics) with the introduction of an Emergency Laboratory to help our clinicians in satellite sites with basic lab tests necessary to help in the final diagnosis and hence improve patients’ outcomes and satisfaction.
